The 2nd annual speaks VOLumes Conference

Dynamic presenters on each day will allow you to delve deeper into the place of online teaching and learning in K-12 and examine the role mobile learning plays as well.

Whether you’re in an administrative position or an instructor, if you’re in search of a stronger foundation upon which to build expertise in online course design, development, instruction, and assessment you will benefit from this practical, innovative online event. The VOL Conference brings a community of hundreds of educators worldwide – right to your desktop for interactive online sessions, discussions, hands-on learning, strategy swapping, and networking.

The VOL Conference is the place to connect with and learn from colleagues. Attendees will interact directly with speakers, moderators, and peers. Take part in live polls, answer real-time discussion questions, and ask questions and converse with peers via live chat during any of the sessions. Can’t attend your favorite session live?

The Learning with the Authors online book study will be a series of Webinar meetings throughout the coming year for the study of each individual book selected with a concluding Webinar meeting with the guest author/s in attendance.

The VOL team strives to create a culture of sharing and produces the conference with an array of tools and events that foster relationship-building with peers and the growth of professional networks. Participants cite the connections they made with others in attendance online as among the most valuable elements of the online conference experience.

Live Interactive Sessions:
The VOL Conference Team has crafted a jam-packed three days of access to top speakers, great content and exceptional networking opportunities. Each day of the conference will include numerous live online sessions facilitated by leading experts and moderators. Participants will hear and interact with workshop leaders and other attendees on topics designed to offer practical strategies for improving online learning courses and programs. Each session will last about one hour, and will feature live two-way web-based audio, visuals, and real-life demonstrations of best practices at work.

Full Session Recordings:
All presentations are recorded and posted almost immediately to the conference community site so that participants unable to attend live or who wish to review can experience the sessions when it is most convenient. Access to the session recordings is available for a year after the VOL Conference. No matter what time zone you are in, you can still enjoy and benefit from the online conference experience. The conference is meant to adapt to your schedule. Other conference activities are asynchronous, so you can participate in those elements whenever it suits you best. All registrants will have access to all conference resources — and a network of colleagues and authors.
